When I'm all said and done with WoW, I doubt I'll have the same level of memories that I did with FFXI. I mean, I remember doing a garrison when I was like level 20 with no sub. Garrison... Ya... And I only did it once and that's all.
What's more, I STILL HAVE SCREENSHOTS FROM IT! (http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm132/Veloxe/Vel060423155901a.jpg)
Plus I had huge goals in FFXI, goals that actually seemed to mean something (http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm132/Veloxe/Vel060611211725a-1.jpg) in FFXI...
Even what seemed like the silliest little things (http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm132/Veloxe/Vel060618165947a.jpg) seem to still hold meaning now.
Hell, there were friends I actually felt like protecting (http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm132/Veloxe/Vel060621142223a.jpg) instead of some faceless, nameless, racist scrub I found in the LFD queue...
Maybe it was because I was younger and felt like I could do the impossible (http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm132/Veloxe/Vel060704031451a.jpg)...
Maybe it was simply the atmosphere of the game (http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm132/Veloxe/Vel060716162816a.jpg), something which WoW seems to be lacking in WotLK...
Perhaps I just found so much more to have great fun with (http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm132/Veloxe/WingsoftheGoddessBTTF.jpg) in XI...
In the end though, I suppose things do come to an end, but the best we can do is remember the times past (http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm132/Veloxe/Vel061108160529a.jpg) and use them as a compass to the future...
Fuck it, I'm going back to tanking. Watch out WoW, it's go time!
