Discriminating on the basis of what one believes (or doesn't believe) is just stupid. Every time I see one of those polls about who people would refuse to vote for because of what the person believes, I'm horrified. What the hell does it matter if someone is an atheist or gay or muslim or (the big one right now) mormon? What matters is if /they can do the job/.
