I love, love, love Mash. I remembering watching it during college and it seemed ok but... that was a long time ago now too.
But you know, while I find problems in shows from the 80's and 90's I don't so much with reruns from the 50's & 60's. I Love Lucy and Andy Griffith seem ok for the most part but then you get something like The Honeymooners and it's barely watchable.
Maybe it depends on what network aired them?
I have no idea.
There's also the fact that you expect something that was made before you were born to be less, so it might just be that factoring in: lower expectations mean less disappointment or something.
