I read some of those books. They definitely are cracktastic...but the crappy roles for the female characters eventually got me down, though I was still laughing at the relentless MASCULINITY all over the place. Also, it bothered me that the male characters are so appropriative; I envision them as a bunch of white guys trying to look cool in a rap video.
