I was depressed all evening after that with typical stupid thoughts ("I went and ruined everything!"), but today I shook it off.
GOOD. That's a great thing to do, as we've discussed.
us it wasn't fast food or cookies or something, it was semi-reasonable food.
Also important to remind yourself of. :)
By no coincidence, yesterday was also the first day I didn't weigh myself. That's peachy keen fine though, as I really don't want to do it every day.
...which is another good thing. People's weights tend to fluctuate from day to day, and constantly hawking the scale can also cause those flares of depression. More accurate would be to only weigh yourself once a week, because that's long enough to see "true" gain or loss, averaged out as it is over seven days.
Personally, I weigh myself twice a week, although I only 'count' every other one as an "official" weigh-in. The second, mid-week one I do four days later, I consider a 'spot check' to make sure that the haphazard plan I'm following seems to be working, so I can make adjustments if needed.
11 pounds lost. Yay!
>.<
I'm yaying that you were able to lose weight like you wanted to...but not the total.
You heard my concern about this already, but I'm going to repeat it: that's an insane and dangerous amount of weight loss for one week. Please keep an eye on it this week and try to decrease the rate to something healthy. For a Week #2, it really shouldn't exceed 3-5 pounds.
