oh my god my husband and I are rewatching DS9 atm (his rewatch, my first watch) and I have the same hatred for the music later on! He always laughs the entire way through the theme song because he knows how much I hate it! In fact I told him you thought the same thing as I do about the music and he cackled for a good several minutes! (I may have yelled triumphantly "It isn't just me!!!").
