Sometimes problems solve themselves (WoW)

While at work, I was stressing out of my mind. The last (best) part of the pre-Cata event started: A boss fight, that drops ICC10-level gear. WOO! Upgrades for non-raider me! But how would I ever get all my alts done? Five 80s, when the boss fights are 2-3 hours apart? I estimated I'd need 18 hours per day on WoW!

Then I joined the fights. Even though I got three upgrades in four fights (amazing luck!), I won't be doing it again (other than with friends). This merge between all BGs just sucks so much. I can't count the number of horrible, terrible people I was exposed to tonight.

In one group alone, I saw variations on the "fag" insult five times. Two or three members were fighting endlessly and kept trying to kick each other. Their reasons were:

fag
faggoty fag
fucking fag
fagfagfagfagfagfagfagfagfagfagfagfag

Now, I'm not a skilled WoW player, so if I thought people were lacking in skill, that meant something. In two of the four fights, the healers never healed once. I had eight or nine wipes total in those four fights. There was not one fight were people weren't arguing, cursing, insulting each other.

I felt like I was dealing with a bunch of kids. Oh wait, I was.

*hides for the rest of the night* At least I can pretty much ignore the event until it ends!
