My darling Glee, what the heck happened to you?
My beloved show, the show that always made me laugh, grin ear-to-ear, and be happy days after... tonight's ep was so mean! Beginning to end (almost end, 10 minutes left). What the heck happened to everyone being happy and friendly and upbeat and decent human beings?
I really could have used a big dose of happy tonight. Darned Glee! Live up to your name, grumble.
Edit: Okay, I did get a laugh in the last 20 seconds, but that's hardly enough to make up for the whole ep.

They also covered what might be my least favorite song ever, "Loser" by Beck. Bleh. And not nearly enough Kurt. Well, they can't all be fabulous!

There was that, but while he was doing it? And after, when Sue was so hurt? I felt sick. Yeah she's a bad person, yeah she does bad things, but two wrongs do not make a right. He did a horrible thing to her, and just feeling bad after the fact doesn't change that.
The other thing was Jessie and the eggs. I never cared one way or the other about the character, and the pairing didn't do much for me, but this seemed really out of left field. Wasn't it just last week he admitted he actually liked her and didn't want to hurt her? And now he's breaking eggs on her and mocking her beliefs (vegan thing)?

Usually I love all the songs in an ep, even ones I hadn't encountered before. This is the first week I hated nearly all of them -- Loser was the "high" point of the ep for me (I actually liked Glee's version of it better than the original).
And not nearly enough Kurt.
Yes! I'm so worried about next season. They're introducing an "outspoken Christian" character to "balance" the show -- so that all viewers will have a character to identify with. Tell me how many Christian folks are probably following this show! With Kurt, teenage pregnancy, and other such "ungodly" stuff?
Next week is the last ep of the season. I hope it's as good as all the ones before this week... If not, between these two weeks and the coming new character, I'm going to be worried.
Though... before the Gaga ep aired, people flailed about Poker Face being sung between the mother and daughter. "It's a song about sex! It's wrong for a mother and daughter to sing ig! Evil bad writers are going to ruin Glee!". I told people to calm down and trust, to wait and see how they handle it, so... perhaps I should do that about the new character. But I'm still worried.

Maybe it was a homage to Grease?
