Thistle could be the prettiest goth girl at the prom if he'd only wear a kilt/skirt thing. It's even prettier in game than in the screenshot, bright purple and glossy black. I wish I could use it, but... could you see Thistle trying to ride Symmetry in that thing?

I didn't like Glee tonight for oh so many reasons. I could rant about it, but... meh. Glee isn't even worth the effort of ranting anymore. At least usually I like the music, but this week it was almost all a miss for me. Including what might be the worst match ever song for me. A song about a red plastic cup. About how much this guy likes a red plastic cup. How anyone who would rather drink from an OMG glass cup does not have "testicles" (taken direct from the lyrics). I don't think I could be more annoyed and put-off by a song than this. Heh, I'm growing more and more annoyed just sitting here writing this paragraph. Oh well, I suppose since I do not possess testicles, the singer really wouldn't care about my opinion on things.

I was actually having a nice, relaxing night until that song came along. I had some RP, Twitter was fun, I did a lot of busy work, and I made a WoW discovery: Those five free craftskill levels from the faire are actually a big deal. Of my eight alchemists, six were stopped at 520, since that's all they needed to make money and the last five levels would cost lots and I don't need them. (The other two have the vial of the sands recipe, so needed to be taken to 525.) Faire = all of them are now 525, for a few copper.

Oh god, now that awful song is stuck in my head. Noooo, why'd I listen to the beginning of it again for this post.

Sesame Street did a Glee parody, I snickered endlessly through it.

I spent the first 50 minutes wondering why I still liked this show. It's my "favorite" show (yet I dislike it more often than not). I pass up on RP for it. I don't multitask during it. And yet week after week it annoys me more than anything else.

Then the last 10 minutes of the show came and I was all eeeee!

The issue (for this ep) was that there is no couple on earth more boring than Finn/Rachael. Seriously. zzzzz. I couldn't care less about either of them. Hey, the show is taking place in New York City, perfect chance for the both of them to be hit by a bus!

And then Quinn joined in the effort to make every character on Glee as unlikeable as possible. Bravo, madam!

But the last ten minutes made me happy. Blaine/Kurt (gods, I melted at how Blaine looked at Kurt!). The "surprise" pairing that I won't spoil. And of course Santana/Brit, love them forever. Oh and I really, really like how it turned out at nationals, I hadn't expected that or been spoiled on it.

So I guess I'll watch next season, and reality TV show me is looking forward to the Glee casting show on Oxygen (all of the kids look So Darned Interesting! I'm dying for it to start!).

It didn't help Glee's cause to show it an hour later, after American Idol. I know some people still enjoy that show (and I used to), but now it was nothing but painful for me. Get off my TV so I can watch Glee!

I have zero issues with Glee spoilers (though I don't re-post them here), so I knew going in who would be prom king/queen. That said, I hadn't expected it to happen that way or for the reaction that it caused.

More and more, Kurt's starting to bother/worry me. I know he's a kid, and I know he's not wrong, but he's a high school kid in Ohio. One has to be safe. In a perfect world, he could wear what he wants and do whatever he wants with whoever he wants wherever he wants, but this isn't a perfect world. Blane told him outright about being beaten up over this, but teenagers can turn a blind eye to stuff like that.

Oh well. At least Glee isn't realistic enough that Kurt will be dragged behind a pickup truck and then strung up from a tree. :/

---

RP, eeee! RP all night long! Looong Haken scene with the wonderful Greyspell and Embersong. :D And then I switched to A-side, not intending to RP, but pausing Glee and doing it anyway.

Holy cow, I'm tired now though. I hope I'm not getting sick, I seem to be developing a cough. D:

For some reason, milk squicks me. I eat beef and cheese, so I'm not sure why milk grosses me out, but it does. Finally I tried this Silk stuff (soy milk) and OMG so good! Tastes great and is good for you! Mmm!

And eeeeee, this commercial! I teared up and sniffled through it.

And Glee! They used the Songbird song finally! EEEEEEEE! I was spoiled to it coming up a couple weeks ago. It wasn't as pretty as the original (You can listen to it here), but such a perfect song for them! Eeee I've never been into femslash before, but I love them so much. :D

...okay, Will, you really need to NOT tell children about what kind of underwear you wear. UGH.

This is such a win ep for music though. Love almost all of it, which is uncommon for me.

You know, it's funny. I write about Glee every week, but I never feel like writing about Game of Thrones. GoT is so good, so perfect, but I watch it once and then that's it. I never even feel like watching the eps a second time. It's odd. It's almost like I have no emotional connection to it yet.

All in all, good ep. Lauren Zizes lost my heart for a time, but I suppose she saw the error of her ways. Santana, on the other hand, can be my wife. My mean, mean, wonderful, Lebanese wife. Heehee!

Most of the music didn't do much for me, but I loved the final number. Their shirts killed me! :D

I'm not sure how I feel about Karofsky, especially with a spoiler I know (*zips lips*). It almost feels like he's changing too easily?

All in all, I enjoyed the ep. I hope next week is a good one, too!

I didn't get to watch the ep until today. I totally lost track of what day it was, so in the middle of my RP scene I blinked when I saw it on. "What's Glee doing playing on a Monday night?"

All in all, I can't say it was a tragedy that I waited an extra day to see it. While the ep had its moments (TROUT MOUTH! *dies*), and some amazing moments (BOYKISS), for the most part I was pretty meh about it.

My opinion on the ep went downhill fast in the last five minutes or so. Mocking Sarah Palin is about as challenging as kicking a mentally handicapped, blind, deaf kid with no arms and legs. You all know I would in no way defend Palin, but that doesn't mean I found Glee's take on her funny. Just the opposite in fact, I rolled my eyes through the whole thing.

I keep wavering back and forth on Sue, too. I didn't like her at all in this ep. The letter was okay, but why in the world is she still a teacher in the school? Why don't parents complain about her? Hell, why wasn't she arrested for assaulting the woman announcing the results? Hell again, why in the world is she holding such a grudge against children?

The original songs did little for me, other than trout mouth (*snickers more*), and Kurt's... what was it called, blackbird?

Still loving Santana.

Four weeks of reruns now, I believe. zzz

Best ep ever or best ep ever? How's this show sometimes so good and sometimes so... not?

LOVE Brittany!
Love Love Love Brittany/Santana. OMG! This ep!
Loved The Talk finally happening!
Loved almost every song. DIED at Afternoon Delight.
Loved Kiss/tango!

I wonder how many parents wrote in to complain about this ep? All I can say is: Glee should have sex as its theme every single week! The opening song? SO HOT.

Brittany is the hottest thing ever. And the funniest too! She makes stupid so cute.

Ellie New Kitty is aware of the TV a whole lot more than my previous kitty, and Ellie says a big NO THANK YOU to Prince's singing. She stared at the screen, ears twitching furiously back and forth, then took off running.

So glad I recorded this, I want to rewatch it this weekend. :D

God. Glee, I was looking forward to you all week, and instead of being good, instead of continuing storylines, we get the most unreasonable, nonsense... just... no. I have no words. Nothing made sense. The characters are just so impossibly stupid sometimes. And Justin Bieber. God. How this show goes from so good one week to so bad the next is beyond me.

"Who's more rock and roll than Justin Bieber?"
My 18 year old cat is. An actual rock is. Anything is.

I suppose the young show fans were tickled pink at this ep.

Edit: Does anyone read Lois McMaster Bujold? I picked one of her books semi-at random (The Curse of Chalion), and it kind of feels like we're jumping into the middle of a story, like it's not the first book in the series. Wiki says it is, but I wonder if there was some other series that touched on this world/characters I should have read first? I don't mind when books just toss you into the middle of stuff and don't explain it (I like that, in fact!), I just don't want to be starting in the wrong place.

Glee! So funny! So painful! So obvious! So good!

Valentine's Day ep spoilers )

I need to get a Glee icon... I'm so glad this show has gotten good again. I was worried there for a while!

Edit: Huh, Max Adler (Karofsky) did an It Gets Better video. He's so darned cute!
