I usually check the AH for interesting mounts before bed. Boy was I excited to see this...


I caught it quick enough to see it in the window, but in the time it took me to move my mouse and click, it was gone ARG! I missed it by seconds! Gah!

Someone sure got a deal. Annoying thing is, I would have been willing to pay full price for it. D: I'm kicking myself so hard for not being faster. Why didn't I check just a moment sooner? Why did I pause for a moment, staring, wondering if I was reading it right?

Is this a faction AH or a neutral one? If it's neutral, they might just be sending something across factions.

If it's a faction-specific one, then I don't have a clue why they didn't just mail it.

I'm twitching just looking at the screenshot and I wasn't even there. Man, someone was BRAVE to do that.

I'm curious, if they had indeed just been trying to transfer it across factions and you bought it, and they sent you a tell like "D: my hippogryph", would you give it to the intended recipient, or would you keep it? Or sell it?

Not brave, stupid! It wasn't a neutral AH, it was Dal's Horde AH. I think someone didn't know they could mail it? Or they just totally messed up on the selling price. (I hadn't thought of that first point last night, someone made a comment saying it. I'm more fine with missing it if that's the case, I'm not out to steal it, but if they were selling it and just messed up the price...)

I thought a lot about your questions last night. It all depends on if they had asked and how. If they said nothing, I would have kept it. If they asked nicely, I think I would have paid the price I thought was fair for it (150K). If they were all GAY FAG ASSHOLE THAT'S MINE YOU STOLE IT FUCKING SHIT GIVE IT BACK I would have blocked them and gone on with life.
