Warchild 30 second review

Would be 30 seconds if not typing on phone.

Best Book Ever and ever. Dark and wonderfully realistic and perfect for me.

Usually would have been an ending I loved but in this case frustrating arg. Can't make Lj cut to say why though

Hate that I can't make real post about it now. Will forget too much by time I'm at a computer

Started second book. Tad confused as to why we are in a characters pov. Maybe because first chapter?

Arg such a good book. Deserves real review!

Lowachee seems to like playing with POV. As with Warchild, Burndive has a person shift (same POV character, different person/pronoun) partway through the book, but much later on than in Warchild. I get what those POV-person shifts are doing, and it's an interesting approach, but I find it more randomly jarring than impactful, tbh.

Book 2 is my favorite, so I hope you enjoy it as much as the first one! :D

In warchild the pov switch worked. For me. I realized why she did it. Haven't gotten to pov switch in burndive yet. 20% in, silver section.

Can't see icon on phone. Looking forward to seeing it though.

Oh, it's not my work :) -- the icon is by inkvoices -- they made a whoel Avengers quotes set, which had so many awesome options! But this one fits Cairo just right :)
