Would be 30 seconds if not typing on phone.
Best Book Ever and ever. Dark and wonderfully realistic and perfect for me.
Usually would have been an ending I loved but in this case frustrating arg. Can't make Lj cut to say why though
Hate that I can't make real post about it now. Will forget too much by time I'm at a computer
Started second book. Tad confused as to why we are in a characters pov. Maybe because first chapter?
Arg such a good book. Deserves real review!

Date: 2016-06-03 09:46 pm (UTC)Lowachee seems to like playing with POV. As with Warchild, Burndive has a person shift (same POV character, different person/pronoun) partway through the book, but much later on than in Warchild. I get what those POV-person shifts are doing, and it's an interesting approach, but I find it more randomly jarring than impactful, tbh.
Book 2 is my favorite, so I hope you enjoy it as much as the first one! :D
P.S. This is my Captain Cairo Azarcon icon :P

Sorry for horrible typing. I'm phone typing challenged.
