Picture this: I'm a 37 rogue. I'm doing my usual endless PvPing (as soon as one BG ends, I queue right up again so I generally end up with the same regulars... and the same foes). I defend a lot because you make more honor, it's important, and (most importantly) it's easier.
A human 39 rogue (named Lvl) came and attacked my base. He killed me, others from my side jumped on him, and by the time I rezzed and ran back, we were able to drive him off. (He jumped off a cliff rather than be killed by us.) I do the same thing ("I'll kill myself before letting you kill me!") so, amused, I /laughed at him as he fell.
Lvl took it personally. :D
The next three BGs, he hunted me down. Not only did he have two levels on me, he was better at playing the job, plus he moved like a monkey on crack with his pants full of jumping beans. Seriously, I could hardly follow him with my eyes, let alone have a chance of keeping up with him through my character. He jumped and bounced and was just all over the place while I felt like my feet were glued to the ground.
Lvl killed me again and again and again. No matter where I went, he followed me and killed me.
I had the greatest time! I laughed endlessly.
At one point I was defending a base alone and he (of course) came and found me and killed me. I said on /bg that I had had enough and to just let him have the base. (Actually, I said I had a "Lvl-dick shape in my ass" and the base wasn't worth it, much to the amusement of my fellows.) :D
Seems like this kind of thing should annoy people, but really, I had the time of my life. I laughed (and groaned) each time he found me and each time he "pwned" me (as the kids say!).
Alas he's 39, so I probably won't meet Lvl again for a while. By the time we meet in the next bracket he probably won't remember me anymore, but this sure did make for an amusing day. :D

*nods*
Assuming I was queuing for BGs for some mad reason. =)

Plus there's the whole thing that dying in BGs just amuses the heck out of me anyway, and this was all good to me! :D

Date: 2009-08-21 07:12 pm (UTC)I was waiting for a vendor last night (takes him 20 minutes to walk between the two places he sells from ~.~ ), so I practiced that. It's so hard! Arg! The only thing I did was make myself dizzy. :P
