thistlechaserA little background, for the majority of non-WoW people on my flist: Blizz decided that everyone who posted on the official forums would have their real first and last name used. This would not be optional. (The stated goal was to cut down on trolling.) Understandable, nearly everyone was rather unhappy with that.
Today they changed their minds! I'm so very surprised and happy! I rarely post on the boards, only when there's a bug of some kind, but still!
I'm very, very careful to have "me" not show up on net searches, so the very idea of this made me twitch. (There are a number of doctors in Germany with the same first and last name as me, but it should be very clear to current and future employers that they're not me.)
