Chinese food, thanks, busy signals, and a nice picture -- in no special order.

Thanks to the folks who left comments on my last post. (Except you, Mark. :) ) I thought about all this and the replies for much of the day, and I think I need to find something bigger in my life -- something bigger to do with my life. Taking in foster kids would be out of the question (they'd touch my toys! Mine!), but something along those lines maybe. Maybe I need to get off my butt and start putting /time/ and effort into some cause, not just throwing money at it (which seems the easiest route).

Though I'm not really hungry and am mostly listless, I ordered Chinese food for the first time in weeks. Mmm. It's my favorite, so hopefully I'll be hungry by the time it gets here.

I sort of half-want to play FFX, but need to get through to my grandmother's room first to get her status. I'd kill myself with a butter knife if I got into playing my game and forgot the time and it became too late to call, so I'm waiting to start till after I call, and maybe after I eat.

My drive to play That Darned Game is going down a little (a lot). I got one new aeon, and there's only one left to get (the sisters), then, what? Go fight Sin, I suppose (though I don't think I'm ready). Maybe wander around the Omega Ruins more. I really hope there's more to the story left...

Tonight's Picture of the Day is a nice, simple one. Sweet though.

Full-sized, nothing to click.

Must finish it! Sin isn't the last thing on your list, dear one. ^^ There's still a bit more before that story has its ending.

I'm playing now! But I don't want just a bit more to the story, I want lots and lots and lots more! I want to go back ten years and see /everything/! More Auron! More Jecht! *pantpant* Everything!

Doooom.

Okay, so the real actual point to my post was to suggest, if you don't want to do fostering, to maybe volunteer your time as a Big Brother/Big Sister. There are plenty of kids out there who might appreciate an enthusiastic mentor, and you could make a difference in the parts of the gene pool who *are* promulgating.

Now *that's* an idea (becoming a Big Sister, not the dooom part). I'm going to look into that this morning! Thanks!
