Whine, whine. Only $14.99 (shipping included!). I'm so tempted. If they had other houses, I'd order it without hesitation. Why only Gryffindor?

I tossed them an email, asking if they'd make a Slytherin one in the future. If they say no, I guess I'll order this one.

Bah. I'd handmake you one for about as much. It would be knit, not woven, but then again, the ones in the movie are knit.

Yeah, it's a serious offer. Although, I think I will want to get together with you sometime to discuss details--I have certain ideas on how I would make it, and I want to verify with you that you're okay with those details. :) One of which would be to ask you to accompany me to someplace like Michael's to verify you're okay with the colors I'd chose for this.

I taught my friend windrose how to knit specifically so she could make herself a Slytherin scarf, and I was really happy with the colors she chose for it, as compared to the few pictures I could find (at the time) of the scarves from Sorceror's Stone. It's more of a sage green and pale grey, which I believe is different from a lot of the other color schemes found for the house which tend towards dark green and silver.
