Yeah. I wrote a longer post about this yesterday, but ended up deleting it.

Anyone should be offended at this! If you don't want to believe in science, you're only hurting yourself. But when someone doesn't believe in science and is put in charge of a science committee? UGH!

Is this like the idiot in Texas who is /actually passing/ laws that teachers MUST teach children that the 40 days/nights flood was real, the earth is only 6k years old, and dinosaurs were on the boat with all the other animals.
