Since (amusingly) people check my LJ for info on Byte-me being down, I'll make an update for it.

Last night, about 12:30 California time, the server became unreachable. As of this morning, it's the same.

MUSH people! If you're not on the Yahoo Groups mailing list (grr!) then here's some extra news for you:

The temp MUSH (which we were going to use when Byte-me is down for Rory's move) is up and running.

The database is from yesterday morning, so any changes made since them will not show up on the temp MUSH.

I've got no honking clue why the network is down. There WAS a power outage. But the server was unaffected. The BBNOW (upstream) router responds to pings from inside and outside the network.

I have to call them today and find out WTF is going on.
