Food = Sanity
Jan. 30th, 2003 08:31 pmThis should really stop surprising me, but it still does. I ate dinner, and now I felt mostly sane again. Stressed still, but not like I'm going to bite the throat of anyone who comes near me.
For those who live in this area, I found a pretty good Chinese food place. Wolfe and Old San Francisco. In the Safeway shopping center. Know those dinner-sized styrofoam containers? Meant to hold a whole meal? I ordered sweet and sour chicken, and they filled it up with chicken. No rice, no vegetables other than a slice of pepper here and there. The container was so heavy when I picked it up, I thought it must be packed full of rice.
No rice, just chicken.
I ate my full, and still have enough for two giant meals. Mmm. Flavor was a little weak (I think it was more like "real" Chinese food, where they go very light on sauces and such), but it was still good.
