Japanese candy (or cookie!) of the night

thistlechaserI wasn't going to do this tonight. I'm full from dinner and I still have half the package of Cream Collon left, but I got a second package of Japanese stuff (this one from Japan), and it had Yu Gi Oh stuff in it, so I opened it. (Yes, I am a Yu Gi Oh freak.)
There's no English name on the package that I can find, but it's a pretty simple food. (Photo.) The one (of ten) that I opened is a plain wafer with a chocolate filling. (Since this one had a silver wrapper, maybe the gold is chocolate wafer with vanilla filling?)
The smell of chocolate was really strong when I opened it, so my hopes raised a little and I tried it without worry. It's really... eh. Tastes like about the quality of the very cheapest chocolate cookies you could get for kids. Something bordering on stale, not made from real chocolate, and generic. The chocolate tastes more like carob or something, bland and a little bitter and just plain eh.
So apparently I bought these for the stickers (that little golden square you can see in the photo). Luckily these were cheap (a dollar and change each? Maybe?) because the sticker is tiny (about an inch by an inch), and the cookies are eh. Package is cool though. If I hadn't sent Hyper's box out yesterday, I would have put some of these in.
I'll give them a two out of ten stars (based just on the cookie, not the sticker/package). It's food, and it won't poison you, but there's no reason to eat them unless you're locked in your empty house and your cat refuses to "sleep" in the oven for you.

On an unrelated not, for only the second time in over six years of buying and selling on eBay, I got screwed. Paid $40 for all of the HP books on CD, and the CD doesn't work. Checked eBay to get the guy's address to write him, and find that he's no longer a registered user. Get his email address to maybe be able to track him down that way... and it's just a free Yahoo account.
Bah.
$40 isn't the end of the world, but it's that it happened that annoys me. I wanted to be able to listen to the books at work.
