(And the first PokeMUSH staffer to +special me gets smited.)

First off, the great and wonderful [livejournal.com profile] nopejr wrote a story for me! Small Things, a "happy ending for Peter" story! Yay Nope and yay the story! It's really great, you should read it.

I really do like Peter as a character. I'm sure I've written about this before, but readers are way too down on him. Yes, he did some very bad things, but it's not exactly like he did them of his own free will. If someone held a gun to your head and told you 'betray your friends or die', how many people would honestly take the bullet? Not many (though they might claim otherwise), and yet people hate Peter - they froth at him. Ahem. I'll stop before I start ranting. :)

[livejournal.com profile] peppygrowlithe asked me five questions! Still interested in someone asking you? Leave a comment here and I will!

1) Does "Thizzle fa shizzle" make your teeth itch as much as they do mine?

Though I'm not sure what it means, I think it's sort of cute. (I do believe it means something, as I've heard -izzle words on the street sometimes.) It's better than "Thistle-wistle widdle kitty wum-wum belly" or something like that.

2) What's the best kind of weather? Why?

If I'm sleeping, staying inside, or have nothing to do, then rain. Light rain, heavy rain, any sort of rain. Wind is nice, too.

If I have to go out, drive, do stuff, dress up, etc, then overcast is fine with me. Bright sunlight, while good for my plants, kills my eyes to no end. (I have really light blue eyes, which supposedly makes it worse.)

3) Do some solely people bring bad things upon themselves, or do believe that sometimes they really do just have "bad luck"?

I don't believe in luck, good or bad. I believe that people try to spot or create patterns out of randomness (that that's just how our brains work), so it only seems like there's luck.

4) How much would you pay to somehow own a copy of all seven Harry Potter books, even those not written yet?

Hee. Probably all the money I have. I wouldn't sell my computer or my cat, but I'd empty my savings account (about enough for a new car, very roughly). They'd give me enough happiness and joy... and man, think how much I could get on eBay for copies!

5) What's your favorite school subject (math, social studies, etc.)? Why?

In my youngest grades, it was Art. I was better than everyone else, and I loved doing it. Teachers said nice things about my work, which made me feel good.

In high school I'd say Science and English. English because I loved to write, and science because I was good at it and I really wanted to know how the world worked. Evolution, genetics, other planets, all that.

In college it was my archeology classes (which I almost minored in). Oddly my love of writing was killed in college. I had a professor who *deducted* points for doing extra credit work (writing more stories), said really nasty things about me, didn't let anyone even mention suicide in a story (because his kid killed herself, we learned we couldn't write about it after I wrote a whole story about suicide), and other really mean stuff. I fled that department as fast as I could, and never took a step back.

There may or may not be a Japanese Candy Post tonight. I have only two things left to review (before I go shopping for more), and I'm not really in the mood for chocolate right now (shocking, I know).
