1. When was the last time you treated yourself to a nice purchase of something non-essential? What was it?
2. What's your favorite accent?
3. Describe a near miss- either a brush with death, or almost getting caught doing something you shouldn't.
4. List five mundane (as opposed to felonious or daredevilish) things you'd never do.
5. What word(s) do you most consistently mis-type?
1. When was the last time you treated yourself to a nice purchase of something non-essential? What was it?
Hmm. I'm not big on doing this. Oh, I know! Last time I went grocery shopping I bought a package of those plastic alphabet letters with magnets on the back, the ones for sticking on the fridge. They're fun to play with!
The grocery trip before that I bought a tiny plastic horse with a mane you could comb. I like these types of non-essential purchases: They make me happy because they're fun and they're very cheap!
2. What's your favorite accent?
I like so many of them! Heck, there are very few I *don't* like! Favorite? Ummm, how can I pick just one? :) South African, I suppose, since it sounds like so many others (British, Dutch-ish, Australian).

When I was still living in NY, I got into quite a car accident. My job's parking lot fed right into a four-lane highway. When my lane was clear, I pulled out, but someone came across all four lanes into mine and hit me. He was doing 60+ MPH (well over the speed limit). My co-workers were shocked I hadn't died. My car spun around and around and ended up hitting the concrete wall dividing the two directions.
The speeder's car had a pregnant woman in it, and they ended up suing me for a few million dollars (!!!!). I've moved five or six times since then, and never heard how the lawsuit ended. (I've never tried to find out; if they don't know where I am now, I'm happy enough.)
4. List five mundane (as opposed to felonious or daredevilish) things you'd never do.
1- Willingly talk to my mother about sexual-ish things that I like (though she keeps trying to draw it out of me for some reason! Very disturbing!).
2- Place any sort of bumper sticker on my car, other than my Darwin fish. (There's nothing I believe in as strongly as I do evolution.)
3- Get a roommate. I could never live with someone 24/7. I did it in college, and the stress almost killed me. I need my space and my alone-time.
4- Eat meat!
5- Complete a list of five items! I'll never list more than four things! Ever! ...oh, wait. Darn!
