Lost

Before I go into last night's ep, let me again repeat how great it is to have a TV show that you can chew over for days after, one in which every detail may be important, one where nothing is clear or handed to you on a plate. More TV should be like Lost!

Lost: White Rabbit. (Spoilers for last night's ep.) )

Next week's preview looked insane! How in the world are we supposed to wait seven days for it?

This Saturday they're re-showing two eps. Does anyone know which two? The pilot would make the most sense (so they can try to draw even more people in), but I bet it'll be the two latest eps.

And YAY YAY YAY! Lost is in the top ten TV shows for the whole week, so it shouldn't be canceled!

Edit: Odd. I kept having to resist writing "the Island" instead of "the island". It feels like the Island merts that. It feels alive. It feels as if it's the Island itself that is evil, not someone or something on it...

I know lots of folks have read Watership Down (as Sawyer was reading in last night's ep). I'm pondering another connection between the ep's title "White Rabbit" and other stuff. Didn't Watership Down have a white rabbit in it? Wasn't that rabbit a god-figure? Like the thing they saw when they died or something like that?

The Alice in Wonderland connection is way too easy -- it was given to us by a character, and nothing on this show is as simple as that...
