Bone-weary

I've realized that this, the second week of Hell Week at work, is coloring the rest of my time. Hopefully next week things will be different, but for now I just feel crushed by the weight of everything. (Oh, doesn't that sound so melodramatic?)

Though I wanted to do anything but move more than I had to, I actually got out walking this morning. (Yesterday I did weights instead of walking -- weights are harder, but since they take less time and I can do them inside, I'd always rather do them over walking.) If nothing else, this should be a good week for weight loss -- I'm losing about a pound every two days! Been a long, long while since I lost weight that fast. (And again, that sounds more dramatic than it is. Four days = two pounds lost, not anything major.)

At this very moment in time (though I'm sure it'll likely change in the near future), FFXI feels like nothing but additional work to me -- zero enjoyment, just things I have to do, money I'll need to make or else, etc. Luckily tonight, tomorrow night, and Friday night I have nothing I have to do (other than the ever-pressure of trying to make money), so hopefully I'll be able to relax some and do something fun.

I'm waiting to hear from Nif if there's a slot open for me on Saturday for the 2-5 CoP mission. In hopes that there is space for me, last night I traveled to the Meadow and the Safehold to finish Monday's quest and to do mission 2-4. Luckily 2-4 was one of thos missions where all you have to do is run hither and yonder to talk to NPCs and watch cutscenes. GAH GAH GAH, such wonderful storylines! The sort of cutscenes which tell you so much, yet leave you wanting much much more. :) I wish all missions were like that, but 2-5 is going to be one serious bitchkitty. It almost looks impossible... (At least I'm near the front end of our static, so if I die one or more times I won't fall behind.)

Oh well, back to work...

I made this quiz, so I'm not cutting it! So there! Plus it's all text and no images, so it won't slow down your friends page loading.

I was hoping not to get that last answer. Heh. Oh well, take it today! And suffer the same fate that I did!

Your FFXI Experience!
Your FFXI name
Your weapon of choice is...
Complete this: Monkey is to stapler as Christmas is to...
You picked your first job because: You thought it would be a great way to pick up girls.
Your first partying experience was: A smashing success ...for the orcs!
Your secret goal in the game is: To make friends with the beastmen.
But what you'll actually accomplish: You'll meet and later marry a GM, and live happily ever after!
And in the end? You'll play so much that you'll eventually merge with your chair, and never be seen by real people ever again.
This cool quiz by Thistle - Taken 1 Times.
New - Help with love and dating!

(Okay, I've protested all the work I have waiting for me long enough. Back to work!)
