Stuff. Odd stuff.
May. 20th, 2005 08:27 amMy dreams are usually pretty darned realistic. No flying cars, no chairs talking to me, no dancing fruit. Sometimes I think that by not having "crazy" dreams that I'm missing out on something... Last night's left me scratching my head. My cat was a goldfish... a talking goldfish. And she didn't want to be in the tank, she wanted to swim through the air. Then somehow I became Hermione (GAH! Bad brain! Bad! Couldn't I be a HP character I like?). And worse than that, I was a Hermione who was madly in love with Ron (ugh ugh ugh). But I didn't want to admit my love for him, so he went off and married someone else, then when I was ready to tell him I loved him, it was too late. (I was hugging him and crying, but he wouldn't even hug me back.)

Last night I hadn't felt like logging in to FFXI at all. I did some other stuff for an hour or so, but found myself restless and bored, so for lack of anything better to do I logged on. I made bolts for a couple hours (boring, but accomplished my goal: Busywork while I watched TV). Then I got ready for tonight's static party and headed to Kazham to log off.
While I'd never say this of RL, on the game: I'm happy with how many random people I know! On the airship to Kazham I knew like half the people! :) I met Val and Anoat (who appeared not to be traveling together, both just happened to be on the same ship), Rani, and Russet (from my first LS). Someone refresh my memory: Why did we start having issues with Rani? It wasn't just because he joined the HNM LS... was it his typing? (I'm so bad, I can never remember old fights. If I ever get mad at you, just wait a few weeks and I'll totally forget!) Anyway, Rani seems to have grown up a lot; he and I always talk when we run into each other, and he seems to always ask how CTY is doing. He has some new LS, too. Donno if that means he left the HNM one or not.

With my decreased time on-game, I actually got to watch TV last night. (Usually I have my eyes on the game, but the game on mute so I can listen to the TV as I play.) It shouldn't surprise me, but actually watching TV was pretty darned nice! :P Other than that CSI seems intent upon giving me nightmares. I love the show, but they always seem to cover topics that make me twitch... not to mention, it's sometimes surprisingly gory.
Anyone watch Survivor? I was expecting it to be on last night, but it wasn't. I suppose the series ended? They probably did the final show on a Saturday, which meant I totally missed it. Funny thing, I don't even care who won. I don't even know the names of who was playing this season. I really need to just stop watching the series.
