Quickly FFXI post: No penises, I promise.

My goal is to hit 70 tomorrow (hopefully with a buffer), then stop XPing for a while and concentrate on farming/recovering some cash.

Time spent seeking party: ~1.5 hours
Time in party: ~4.5 hours.
Total XP made: ~13K
XP/hour: ("Oh dear, maths.") Somewhat under 3K?
Dinners eaten: 0 (Have to stop doing that...)

I tried changing my food (jacks -> meat chiefkabobs, for str instead of acc) and my head armor (~ 13 ATT -> something str) to see how that would go. It was hard to tell if I was missing more, but it felt like I was (but I hate dhalmels, I can never hit the damned things anyway). Not sure if my hits/WSs were hitting for more or not.

Oh so amusingly, the party wanted me to use my scythe today. c.c I finally get my darned GS leveled, and no one wants me to use it! Grrr!

Amusing moment of the night:

PLD: Thistle! Don't stun bombs, stun gobs' spells!
Thistle: Um... Okay, if you say so...
Very same fight:
Gob: Heh heh heh! *drops bomb, PLD dies*
Thistle: Um, would you like me to go back to stunning bombs?

Hm, maybe the str food/ str AF hat did make a difference, I broke 1K damage a few times tonight...





Those are both with Souleater though, which feels like "cheating". :/ I wish I could have used my GS tonight to see how that would have been against XP mobs. I bet they'd be about the same as the ZM NMs we killed, I bet I could get 1K without Souleater...

Also stole 4 gold beastcoins (~100K! Yay!), which is a lot more than my average (1-2 coins per night).

Sleepy, sleepy now. Maybe tomorrow I can hit 70 and have time to have dinner! Hm, or maybe not. I'm @12K, which could be 6 hours of fighting if I get my usual parties...

Oh duh, I forgot something: I almost died tonight, and (as usual) it was all my fault. We were almost done XPing, so everyone was being stupid and using their 2hours and stuff. I had Souleater up and used Guillotine with my HP already low. Scene went something like this:

Thistle readies Guillotine.
Goblin Whatever readies Goblin Bomb.
(Party) Thistle: Oh fuck...

I survived with 11 HP! Damned lucky the PLD Invincibled, otherwise I would have had hate and died.

Oh, and I'm really liking a SMN as a main healer. Stoneskin and blink on me the whole night? {Yes, please!}
