Monday was nice. Somehow, even though I got up at 6:30 both weekend days, I was well-rested on Monday. Today? Not so nice. Trouble sleeping, plus the oddest darned dream I've had in a while:

I was a guy (happens a lot in my dreams) and someone imported a bunch of woman for a group of us (ha). Mail order wives, that sort of thing. Everyone got nice, pretty, friendly women, but I got someone who looked like this (just 20 years older). She wasn't very nice, and she didn't even like me! So everyone else got a nice wife, and I got her. Ugh.

I woke up being annoyed that I didn't have a nice wife. Then I spent a couple minutes confused. :P

philia, guess what? Ryu returned all eight pairs of boots to me. *holds head* I don't know if I should make more of them tonight, if she's going to just keep sending them back. Maybe I could send them to Dev or some other members and they might keep them... Sorry to have canceled NIN XPing perhaps-needlessly. (But I'm so exhausted right now I can't even imagine trying to XP anything, so perhaps it's for the best.)

Maybe I'll make more boots anyway. I've not farmed dhalmels in ages, and that's fun, relaxing, and easy. Plus the boots sell for 60-80K each! o.O That's rather mind boggling, since I can make them for, um, (oh dear, maths). Two ram hides (2-4K each) and a pair of leather highboots (~300). I use a crapload of crystals (1 water, 1 earth, 2 dark, 1 fire) and three anima (2 wind, 1 dark) from my stock for each set of boots. Everything else is farmed (dhalmel hides, beeswax). So, assuming I don't HQ the cuir boots (which I tend to do, annoyingly) I can make 50K+ profit on these boots. o.O They don't sell overly fast though.

If I could get Ryu to keep the first 8 boots and accept another 8 pairs, that would bring us to about a million worth of stuff, which was the price I was hoping to pay for that thing I'm getting from her.

And really, who can't use 16 pairs of boots? :P
