Sorry, there will be no post tonight. Nine hours straight in the Dunes has rendered my brain into something resembling chunky cream of chicken soup.
Four parties, two good and two bad. Luckily it was the first two that were bad, so I hardly remember them now. (But then I don't remember my name, either.) The low points of the bad parties were both WHMs:
WHM #1 was level 18, and yet partied naked. No clothing, no rings, no wand, nothing. Since he was a taru, he was so short I hadn't noticed it until a couple hours in. Oh wait, plus there was the rank 10 SMN who, in three fights in a row, hit a leech. On the third strike, I left the party.
WHM #2, also level 18, quite proudly told us he has never played WHM on this character. See, he arrived to this party and to every party he's been in with a PL -- his sibling's WHM 60+ character. He parks the WHM 18 character in a corner, sets it /away, and leeches XP on it while PLing with the sibling's character. Can you imagine partying with this person in the future? Alone? No PL?
The good parties were 1) the parties where rank 1, subjobless idiots did not try to tell me what to do. 2) Where I had lots to do. I enjoyed pulling (since it was nearly impossible for me to get lost) and I liked being the voke buddy for NINs (though I missed having shadows myself).
Went from 16->19. Really, really, really wanted to hit 20 so I wouldn't have to go back. *shakes fist at Dunes*
Tomorrow is NIN XPing with Ead. zzzzz Hopefully my brain will have recovered enough by then! :P
