Slow Sunday (FFXI and TV)

Unexciting day. Started out helping a couple of LS BLUs learn some moves. After that was a couple hours of downtime I couldn't do much with, because eye farming was supposed to happen soon after. Start time rolled around, nothing. Hour passed, two hours, three hours... Bah.

A Besieged happened somewhere in there, and happily I went. (I felt guilty because I worried eye farming might start while it was going on, and I had offered to help so I wanted to be there...)

Then a LS merit party formed, and yay! I got my first ever merit! I didn't think that would ever happen, so it's especially fun! Maybe I can get one of the new things being introduced tomorrow, even though I bet they'll cost more than one point. Oh, and I capped one-handed axe! Yay!

The high point of the day was watching a couple of good movies. What Dreams May Come (which I had seen before, but loved just as much this time) and Dragonfly (new to me). Both movies were so depressing but nice -- not an expected combo! After that caught the pilot for Eureka (SciFi Channel) which I enjoyed what I saw of (was distracted by the game by this point).

Hopefully tomorrow will be less hot, because 100 degree heat is just too much!
