If I said it was possible to get good XP in Bibiki Bay, would you believe me? On a Saturday, no less? Amazing but true! I guess all it takes is a LS static. After 30 or so parties there, where "good XP" would be 2K an hour. Seriously. In one party we had a NIN who died every other fight, and that went on for hours. (I was XPing DRK, so couldn't say 'this party sucks, I'm leaving'.) RDMs who wouldn't refresh/dispel/cure, WHMs who only healed after battles, never during, and gob bombs that caused a wipe every time they were dropped.
So we actually hit 69 today in our static! Getting so close to finishing BRD, yay! I had another ring-caused death today though, blech. I love my ring, but I'm tired of dying for it. (However, I feel it makes me a better BRD, so I'll keep using it. I think. Unless I keep dying to gob bombs. Hm. I wonder if I could switch Fire Carol in instead of one of the melee songs without anyone noticing? (Hee.) Or maybe just hit myself with it if I can get enough space...)
After that there were two Besiegeds, one on BRD to make up for the death and one on DRK. The second one was amusing: Spent the whole time flirting with anelf M girl. Heehee.
Sometimes digging can be soooooo nice:
Okay, that's not as nice as it would have been a year ago, but still: 35K for the stone, 9-10K for the gold, 10-11K for the plat. About 55K in three seconds? Woo!
And sometimes crafting can be soooooo bad: I lost SIX gold beastcoins in two synths in a row. So about 60K lost in seconds. Blech! (Guessing GBCs are 10K, I haven't sold any in ages.) Thanks to saved gold I actually did gold earrings for today's guild turnin. c.c That'd be insane if the gold hadn't been "free" (dug up, and so hard to move on the AH).
The dragon scale I dug up the other day was returned. :( Last sale was 11/20, and now there's a second one listed as well. If it gets returned a second time, maybe I'll just add it to my bazaar collection of interesting stuff.
Between Besiegeds I made a big purchase: The Big One! (I'm so bad at saving money...) But it looks really cool though! And it's so big! Here's it alone.
