Current book: Imperium Lupi
Apr. 20th, 2020 06:21 pmI very, very, very rarely read Furry novels. They're almost always poorly written, full of not just typos and misspellings, but bad plots, too. Imperium Lupi got good reviews though, even from non-Furry readers, so I decided to give it a try.
Even just a couple pages in I liked it, so as I often do when I like a book, I googled the author to see if I could find out more about him and the book.
I probably shouldn't have done that with a Furry book. I have no issues with Furry people, that's not the problem here. It's the art of the characters he posted.

All those done by the author himself. Now I can't read the story without picturing the characters with horrible balloon-muscles.
It's his book and his characters, he can have them look however he wants. I just wish I hadn't seen it, because now I can picture nothing else.
Also, I'm not sure if it's a Furry thing or not, but he calls female animals "wolfess" and "catess" and such. Okay, Google tells me that is probably a Furry thing.
