thistlechaserBlarg. Couldn't sleep because I was swimming in stress, and more stressed because I couldn't sleep. It's a cycle! It's a ride! It's two flavors in one!

I tell you, I'm insane. Some of the old PokeMUSH folks are staffing on a new MUSH, and, um. I kinda offered to do some code stuff if they don't have a code wiz yet. On one hand, I do not need to become a staffer again! I don't have time! I don't need the stress! ...but. But. But. I miss being able to code stuff, and this Would Not Be My MUSH. I wouldn't have to think about it 24/7, just do code stuff now and then. No other work, just code. I haven't coded in almost a year, so I probably forgot most everything, but I miss the challenge of it. But heck, I don't even know if they have someone doing code yet, so I'm probably dithering over this for nothing.
While I couldn't sleep last night, I came up with a character idea for the MUSH. So silly. I have no time to RP! I wasn't looking for a new MUSH! Blarg.
I think "blarg" has become my new word. Blarg.

I'm letting FFXI stress me to hell and back, for no good reason at all. Instead of thinking of everything I need to do and so little time to do it in, I should just sit back and enjoy it... but I have so much to do!
While level 66+ folks probably didn't need little level 48 me's help, I went to help them kill the antlion for pre-CoP 3-5 stuff last night. Since I was there, I was going to climb up the mountain again to do the ENM mission thing, but fell off and had to warp out. Hate that mountain so so much.
Got woodworking from 0 to 13 last night. Unfortunately I'm finding that I don't like WW much. If nothing else, it's hard (as in: the skill ups are really slow). I'd probably place it as the third hardest craft (goldsmithing, leather, then wood). Smithing and clothcraft were about even (not too hard, not a walk in the park). Alchemy was easy as pie, and cooking was even easier. Hm, I'm probably missing a craft in my list, but I'm too tired to figure out which.
Thanks to Niala's day-tracking thingie, I found out that Fireday (when I need to harvest my plants) will happen at 5:36 tonight. I was worried I'd have to skip Eco to harvest, but if the page is right then I can harvest and then scurry off to Eco. And you know, I'm about to stop gardening again. I had said I wasn't going to do the "must plant on X day, must feed on Y, must pick on Z day", but I'm doing just that and it's stressing me muchly. Gardening is a pain in the ass when you work 10 hours a day and sleep a few hours.
Things left to do this week:
Tonight: Eco. Keep working on woodworking.
Wednesday: No plans. Maybe deal with fomor-hate clearing.
Thursday: Beanie's tax day/Castle Oz thingie.
Friday: "Subjob and other static". Blarg. Will have to play thief (blech), REALLY REALLY need two levels on it. Hate having to level a job I dislike.
Saturday: Free.
Sunday: Main static.
Two free evenings out of the whole week. We still need to get chips from Psx'whatever, too.
And one last bit of FFXI babbling: Since at level 63 I'm going to want to use a Bomb Core (it's ATT +12, goes in ammo slot), I won't be able to use my crossbow anymore... so maybe I'll stop worrying about trying to keep marksmanship skilled. I only land about 1 in 40 bolts during XP partying anyway, so... The xbow handy to use it while farming, but maybe I'll give up on using it in XP parties.
