thistlechaserLate night again. Zzzz. Full night. Zzzzz. Sleepy, but still watching tonight's SGA, so don't want to go to bed yet. Zzzzz.
Decided to go back to soloing NIN. Counting seeking and travel time, I make better XP per hour than partying. Plus it's somehow less stressy/hectic/crazy and more fun. Got another level (dinged 17? I think?).
After that I went off to do the funnest thing I've done in a while: The solo Fellowship NPC BC. I went in as RDM/BLM and let him stay as fierce attacker. I hoped he would be able to generate enough hate through DDing to tank, and I was right. Only time I got hate was when I converted and then needed to cure us both lots. Also took a blighted gloom early on because I was totally not watching for it. Though the fight took a long while (just 4 minutes less than the time limit), we won!
If there's one thing S-E does well, it's tell a good story. Especially with this fight/quest, I really feel like I'm getting attached to my NPC. (And it doesn't hurt that he looks so nice now.) And oddly/amusingly, through the whole cut scene it sounded/felt like he was about to say he loved me or ask me to marry him or something. :P
I didn't get many good screenshots, and only this one is non-spoilery: Don't Gunnar and I look good together? A perfect couple of mages. :D Darned fellow is just too tall though.
After that we spent a couple hours getting tests for Yossy and Yun, then I had to mule tons and tons.
My plan for tomorrow had been to try to get the last three BLM levels and finish that darned job, but I'm so darned tired and stressed that I'm saying 'screw it'. I didn't have time to level Gunnar today, so I'll do it tomorrow for sure. And what else? XP NIN probably, because that's fun. That's all I'm doing tomorrow: fun stuff (or helping others with stuff). Must relax, must take it easy. Zzzz.
