thistlechaserSoloed BRD from 7-9 in two hours, then scurried off to the Dunes. Yeah, at level 9. Thought I might be able to get one of those 10-11 lizard parties near the zoneline. Hour-hour later, I did!
An hour and a half later: The party had a total of three pulls, party members had a grand total of eleven deaths, and we had made zero XP! Rock on!
Left the party. Kept my flag up in the Dunes for more than three hours. No more invites.
I could have gotten a couple more levels if I had kept soloing instead. ><
Upside of the night: Amazingly I didn't die.
Downside: No dinner. Hours wasted. Highly annoyed.
Three hours of skilling various instruments got me 15 levels of singing, 10+ levels on two different instruments, and a hope never, ever, ever to hear that damned tune again.
Besieged is at level 1, but I forced myself to log off. If I waited 3-ish more hours for it to happen I'd be even more annoyed, plus tired.
