Progress, at least on some fronts (FFXI)
Feb. 20th, 2007 09:23 pmUnfortunately the downtime canceled our Assault static, but I used the time off to work on Chaser. WAR to 10! Yay! Her subjob is all done now~! Tomorrow back to the Dunes for 1.5 more levels (and hopefully a buffer if the party doesn't suck too much/I'm not too tired, otherwise I'll send her to Eco for a week or two).
Times like this make me really happy I'm a packrat: She's wearing all my bone +1 stuff. So many of my jobs have worn that armor! And now she's in it, too.
I was really worried about digging tonight. 10 hours of downtime = a mess of diggers waiting for the servers to come up. Any of good zones would be hopeless, and even the less good ones would likely have been just as sucky. My choices were: Skip digging (not really an option), try a newbie zone (might as well skip...), or go to a poor/unknown zone. So I headed off to Wajaom Woods. It worked out well in that no other diggers were there, but of course I got mostly crap. (I've gotten a few good ores there at times, so I figured I'd try it out.) Oh well, at least it was stress-free, and that counts for a lot!
