thistlechaserCOR static tonight. One of the people didn't show up, but we did really well with five. Eventually our random sixth arrived (took him nearly an hour to get to camp c.c ) and we plowed through birdies. Ended up at about 5K to 59, which means next week we should hit 60! Full AF! New gun! New gloves! Yay!
I hate (hate hate hate) flapping things, so this weekend I dat swapped out DRGs' wyverns for nice pretty cool coeurls. This is great for seeing them walking around town, but rather amusing in battle. Whenever the DRG does a jump or a WS (triggering the wyvern's breath), the coeurl moves in ways I had no idea were possible. It flies up into the air, all four limbs sticking out in four directions, one back leg 'kicking', and usually the head tossed back so far it looked like the neck was broken. This was the best I could capture it, but that's far from right, the coeurls look almost normal there (other than being in the air). It really did look like a coeurl skin rug had been flung into the air. :P
I HQed a mask for Nimbex (fellow from my old LS). I'm told it was a high level synth, so we were lucky it HQed:
And lastly, don't Barbarossa's Moufles look great with the Sandy aketon? I just can't wait to use them on COR!
Today I bought my shark gun (IS gun) for COR 60, so I get that, my deadeye gloves, and the hat at 60. 61 is my trailer's kukri (serious racc) and amemet mantle +1 that I made and signed for myself when I first started leveling COR. Then that'll be it until the purple Assault stuff in the 70s (as well as my coffinmaker and barbarossa's gloves!). It's really nice to have a job where I care about the armor and stuff. BRD was just 'Meh, whatever, I could be naked and what would it matter?'.
