Note to self: When looking for a picture to use for a new character, do not do a search for "cute young boy", "attractive young boy", or "sexy young boy". *shudder*

But it's probably good that I found nothing. I'm not going to make a character page for my new character, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not. I'm not going to edit logs and put them online. No no no. Been there, done that, not going to do it again!

...but wouldn't it be nice to have a picture of how I see him? Maybe I'll look again some other time with better keywords. "11 year old boy" didn't do the trick either. (And I'm not claiming that an 11 year old can be sexy, but I thought that might give me the air that he has about himself. He's really high class, I wanted something that shows that just by looking at him.)

(And while I feel highly and seriously guilty for RPing somewhere besides my own MUSH, I'm having a ball on asit.)

Every time I see an advertisement for Arnold Schwarzenegger for governor, I snicker or giggle at it. How can anyone take that man seriously? He is an actor! He's a walking catchphrase! If he loses the election, will he turn to the camera and say 'I'll be back... next election!'?

I really hate the current ads I've been seeing for him: Him standing in a room full of seated "average people" -- people of various races, one overweight person, one who looks like a typical gay man. He answers their questions. "Will you have to cut spending on X?" "Will you have to raise taxes?" And of course he always gives the "right" answer, the one everyone wants to hear.

I'm only sure about half of what I'm going to do in this. No on the recall, but I'm not sure who I'll vote for on the other half... There's no one who matches what I believe in. There's one for full gay rights, but he's also for throwing down the walls and letting everyone and anyone into the country, ignoring the immigration laws. There are some with okay sounding budget plans, but then I don't like something else about them...

Oh well, we'll see what happens.

Um... so was Reagan. But I guess bringing his name into it just proves your point. ;-)

Though to be honest, I really didn't pay attention to things during those years to be able to give a fair opinion on what sort of a job Reagan did. If I recall correctly, he had experience before running for president, too? Must have had...

Yes, that's true. He was governor of California for a while first.

A tip for searching for pictures of kids (I don't even want to imagine what would have popped up for "cute young boy" - probably "strung-out eighteen year old porn actor in bondage pants") is to look at child modelling pages such as www.justourkids.com where you can run a search by age and ethinicity and get a studio-quality portrait.

Not that you're going to make a character page for your new character, of course ;-)
