Yay productive day! (FFXI)

thistlechaserI'm enjoying BLU because every time I learn a spell, I feel like I've accomplished something.
Magic Fruit: Easy. 1/2, while home for lunch.
Light of Penance: OMG kill me now. Oh wait, the tonberries are! Tried before and after Dynamis, ~3 hours total. My hate must have been high-ish because Everyone's Grudge was doing half my HP (and I couldn't change jobs and go clear because I was seeking). Throat Stab nearly killed me many times (WTF? The unlocking and running away thing doesn't work anymore?). Finally got it. Annoying because it's a useless spell, but you need it for the combo that gives autorefresh.
Death Scissors: Took a while, but was easy as pie. After dealing with EP tonberries, TW-- scorps were a dream.
So, not counting Jettatura (which I pretend doesn't exist), I have almost all my spells until 60.
Feather Barrier - Going to wait until I'm higher to get it. (54)
Radiant Breath - I think it might hang out with Jettatura. c.c (56)
Flying Hip Press - Easy, just need time to go. (58)
I need a couple more 60 spells, all the 61 and higher ones. But really, I'm just itching to get back to XPing. I'm so close to good stuff! 57 (10K XP!) is my scorp harness +1, that'll help a lot! 58 is auto-refresh, AF body, and other new stuff.
Dynamis - Qufim didn't go too well, we failed to clear it again. I think we're 0/4 now? 0/5? Frustrating because I think Dunes is a harder zone. We've had really bad luck on ??? placement and such.
We have an amazingly, amazingly bad member whose pearl I hope gets broken after tonight. (I doubt it will, but I can hope.) She said if we try Qufim again she's going to mail the leader a flaming bag of dog shit. Well, actually she said something like "of we zum hear a4gain i wil male u a flaimn bg o dug shit". No exaggerating, her typing is just that bad. Generally it's impossible to read. (Though it's kind of a fun game, trying to figure out what the hell she's trying to say.) She brings nothing to the LS, and once you threaten the leader RL...
Anyway, tomorrow is ZNMs, then I finally get a night off. I'd like to RP, but I'm also itching to seek/campaign on BLU as well.
