Holy crap on a stick

It is 51 degrees outside right now. (Which is Damned Cold in California-speak.)

Here in the office, our air conditioning is on high and has been since Friday night.

Of the few of us here, no one has access to turn it off.

It is too damned cold! I have the light jacket I keep here on, with the collar up around my ears. It is actually a lot warmer outside than it is inside.

My butt is going to freeze to my chair, then I'll never be able to leave work again. Hey, maybe that's their plan...

Oy! Has someone called Facilities yet to get that fixed? They usually come in early, don't they? That's inhumane. Maybe you could ask if you could move your cube outside so that you can bask in the meager glow of watery sunshine?

Sunshine sounds nice! And one of the office admin people just arrived (and put her knit hat and coat back on), and set about to calling people. I hope it gets fixed soon, otherwise my fingers will shatter when I type!
