There are 39 eps total, but this file only contains 1-10. I'll release the rest in 10 ep files over the next week or two.

Do one of these two work any better? (I tested them out and they worked for me, but sometimes they work differently for other people...)

the first gave me more ASCII, and the second said i wasn't authorised to view the page.

I'm on XP, but that shouldn't make a difference. I asked someone else to try it, and they had the download start. Maybe try cutting and pasting the URL into your address bar instead of clicking it?

Does the download try to start, or do you get the ASCII right away?

it goes to ASCII right away. let me check my internet options settings. it's probably that...i reinstalled XP pro recently, and i haven't ironed out all the default settings yet.

Did you configure the web server to register .torrent as an 'application/x-bittorrent' mimetype?

I've clicked on the link to your Someday's Dreamers torrent to help seed it, but it has been stuck there and is not even scanning for available files at all, much less getting past that. I've tried several times now. Do you know what the problem might be? I'd like to help out while I still have it on my hard drive.

More people need to watch Whistle!, like now. Will pimp when I write my next entry. ^_^

Yep. I'm using the same tracker and server that I used on my last BT, so it *should* work... but since something odd might have gone wrong, I totally remade the torrent from start to finish.

Hm, that's odd, because I'm using both IE and Mozilla and the textfile thing occurs only when I'm using the latter. IE loads the torrent(s) fine.

it doesn't detect the file type, so it downloads as an ASCII text file at 150kb.

Thanks! Hopefully by that time, whatever URL issue that's going on will be fixed. Since I have you here, can you give this a test as well? Just see if the download starts?

I have totally no clue, sorry. :( I do see that the people connected to it keeps changing (from 11-16), and I am uploading for it, so it *should* be working...I'm not experienced enough with this to troubleshoot, sorry!

Are you using IE or something else? Other people have had success with IE... but I'm not sure what that means.

I have no idea what sort of file associations Comcast has, and I don't have access to change them, but it also works for me from there. How about you?

comcast doesn't dictate my file associations--i do, or the programs i run do. it's probably just my windows settings...there are SO many layers of 'hiding files from the computer illiterate' to go through and disable/enable. i'll just have to keep looking.

One last thing to try: It's starting to go up elsewhere, so perhaps one of the other links will give you better success.

Whistle! torrent problem

Today when i restarted downloading Whistle! packs from crapness.com, it says that my ip is not registered to use the tracker.
How can i do to register it? On the homepage there is no way to do

Hi,

I'm not an expert on all this BTing stuff, but when other people have had that problem, they shut BT down and then opened it again, and that cleared that message.
