After too many strong worded emails, I finally got the nutritional information out of In & Out (for you east coasters, that's a burger chain we have out here in the west). What sort of crack is this?
Grilled cheese (bun, cheese, "spread") - 470 Calories / 28 Total Fat (grams)
Cheeseburger (bun, burger, cheese, "spread") - 470 Calories / 27 Total Fat (grams)
The spread is (I believe) ketchup, mayo, and relish. Grilled cheese (I think) has two slices of cheese on it, I'm not sure if the cheeseburger has one or two slices of cheese. But how the heck does the meatless one have the same calories and more fat? Maybe they put more spread on it? Just how much mayo would it take to equal a burger?
That's just insane, either way...
