*bounces around* Watched the end of HxH!

HxH has SO moved to the very top of my favorite anime list! Arg! I just can't believe the series ended at 62. Why? Why? It's not like they just left a little of the story untold, most of it is still out there and waiting! Eee!
Man, I didn't much like Killua's brother (either of them), but his father and grandfather rock! And *purrrr*, once he lost that godawful fur-trimmed fuzzy jacket, the Spider boss was totally yummy. And the fight between him and the grandfather! Oh, I wanted to see so much more of that!
Since the Spider boss can steal abilities, think he took that daughter's (Neon?) power to make predictions? That'd be a cool twist.
And recall what I said about not getting any slashy feelings about anything in the series? Forget it. There something totally gay going on between Leorio and Kurapica there at the end, the thing with the phone call and them walking towards each other...
Man, I can't wait to watch the OVAs! And word is, the third one isn't too far from being released in subtitles! Woo!

Date: 2004-02-16 10:36 pm (UTC)Argh, yes. It's been awhile since I watched the end of the series/the first OAV, but that was something I remember desperately wanting more of. I was never that big of a fan of Kuroro (the Ryodan/Spider's boss/Danchou/whatever you want to call him ^_~), but that fight with Killua's grandfather... gaahhh! I wanted to know who would win! :x
(It's going to be a looooong time before we get any resolution for the whole storyline, though. Hmm, not sure if you've seen the first OAV yet, which wraps up the Genei Ryodan arc, but there's still stuff left unfinished. Then we go to the Greed Island arc, then after that is the Chimera Ant arc, and who knows how much longer that one will last. But Togashi-sensei hasn't forgotten about them, there've been hints that the Spiders will likely come back at some point in the future. ....babble, babble, babble. >:x)

Argh. No words for how badly I want the third OAV in my hot little hands, because it'll be the end of the Greed Island arc and I wanna see that animated! *stomps foot* The animation gets gorgeous by the second OAV, so I'm curious to see how the third one is going to look. *___*

Agreed. It's a little boring and bland, but eh. I'm so not watching this for the slash -- though if Killua's father wanted to get it on with someone )not Killua's mother), I'd totally be willing to watch! ;) Man, his father was so hot (it's nice when there are sexy older people in anime!). Mmm.

Date: 2004-02-17 09:03 am (UTC)It's amazing how different Kuroro looked/seemed depending on how he dressed. When he wore that long black coat with the mile-long white fur on it, I hated him. He looked all gothy and blech... but when he wore the suit (at the auction) I was drooling all over him. Mmmm.
I think/hope the grandfather would win, mostly because Kuroro is still somewhat young. Age/experience doesn't count for everything, but when the grandfather was already so strong I think it should count for quite a bit.

Eek! Want it now now now! ;) So I take it you read the manga? I like learning storylines through the anime instead of manga, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to resist in this case! Arg! Need more now!
