"The Next Right Thing"
Feb. 19th, 2004 10:23 amI'm all full of linky goodness today, aren't I? Well this one is a link to a wonderful, beautiful LJ post -- if I wasn't at work right now, I'd be crying over it! (I'm sniffling and trying to blink back tears.)
http://www.livejournal.com/users/wordweaverlynn/139933.html
A person went to volunteer up in San Francisco to help process the same-sex marriages, then came back and posted things she heard and saw. *sniff* So much love! How can anyone be against love? It makes my heart hurt even thinking about people who are against same-sex marriages (like my whole family...).
It's a beautiful post, I recommend everyone read it and share the link.

Date: 2004-02-19 11:55 am (UTC)This couple, who has been together for some time, is seeking to split up, but now their are legal complications regarding the legal status of their marriage to begin with..So you have people arguing pro-same-sex marriage, to maintain the legality of their union so they can get divorced, and you have anti trying to get it annulled, which is actually just fine with the couple. It's all quite funny, really.
