Stop the world... (Ooo, games!)

I've been wanting to play Kingdom Hearts again. I keep seeing fanart for it and I want to make progress on the game, so I played it for an hour tonight. Ooooh, gods. I feel like I'm going to throw up all over the place. I wonder what it is about that game that makes me so nauseous... (And frustrated! I'm still in the first world after the beginning, damned Alice's world. I suck at jumping on mushrooms, and I'm sick of fighting shadows and... blobby monster things.)
However, I also played FF9! While it's no FFX, I think I'm going to like it a lot. I discovered the hard way that I need a different sort of memory card for it, so I had to turn it off without saving. The only thing missing in FF9 (other than voice acting...) is that handy dandy little map in the upper corner that FFX had. Still, it looks like fun, even though the main character is a, uh, shadowy... thing... in a big hat. I'm looking forward to playing 8 and 7; at least the lead characters look cute in it.
I didn't cook my cat's chicken tonight (bad me, playing the game), so I have to cook it tomorrow after work for sure. It's a trick to do, because of the time it takes. To make sure they're cooked through, I simmer them for three hours. That means I really need to start them right away when I get home, no logging on or anything first.
And yay! Shadow should be coming home tomorrow, I think! He popped on for a moment this morning and I asked him which day he'd be back, but work was so crazy I missed the answer. I miss having him in my office, even when I'm too busy with work to pay attention to the MUSH.
Friday I have to GM the moment I get home from work. If it wasn't a scene for a group of great RPers, I'd twitch at the thought of losing my Friday dinner out and having to GM the moment I walk through the door. Should be a fun scene though. I have some surprises planned. Heh heh heh.
This weekend I'll have to do a lot of laundry, likely four loads. (Blech.) Will have to do that on Saturday... Busy, busy!
