thistlechaser: (Sad)

It's 10 PM. I missed two of my favorite shows, Survivor and CSI. I haven't had dinner yet, other than some popcorn at 5.

Sometimes having MUSH work to do is good, but sometimes it's too much. It took up my whole darned night tonight, five hours of nothing but straight, not-fun work.

Drew and colored a sub-par picture for an hour, it'll have to be good enough for the site. Answered lots of questions. Did a lot of HTML work. Dealt with too many guests. Reviewed a staffer's work for the special project. Answered more questions.

Darned hungry. Grumpy. The two are likely connected.

I'm sad that I missed CSI especially. I only just started watching the series. I like it. Missed most of 24 from a day or two ago, too. The MUSH never lets me give my full attention to the TV, and some shows need more than to just have an ear kept on them.

Sigh. I seriously must be PMS, there's no reason to be about to cry over missing a *TV show*. That's stupid.

Maybe I'll go eat peanut butter out of the jar or something.

Actually, I would guess it's less that you missed the TV show, and just more general frustration/stress release.

Some people are also very sensitive to blood sugar chemistry affecting their moods. Not eating probably helped.

Sometimes, reading your posts makes me want to come over and mother you. :} I know how important the MUSH is to you, but you should still find the time to decompress from it and work.

Yeah, I think you're right. After I posted I went and ate peanut butter and had some juice and felt much better. I felt /sane/ again.

Thanks for the thought, but I respond poorly to mothering. :) It tends to make me surly and bratty (Right, [livejournal.com profile] evilgrayson?). Things on the MUSH tend to be better; as I posted a number of days ago, usually there's not that much that needs my attention. We're just entering the push on the new project we're working on, so soon we'll be past this busy time.

Normally I'm better about eating because I've learned this hunger-grumpiness/sadness/whatever connection. I just have to do what I know I have to do.

Thanks for thinking about me though. :)

*snicker*

Right, Thistle_Chaser. At least I've sort of learnt, even if I do still try to mother you on occasion. I just can't help it, it's because I care.

Besides, without you around the place, where would I get my - er... um... *ahem*. You know. Well? ;)
