I'm still not caught up with my flist (50 posts left to go!), so I shouldn't be posting a new post, but I forgot to say stuff in the last post so I'm posting now anyway! So there! (Oh boy, I've been hyper since early yesterday evening! Wheeee!)

First off, I had an odd dream. Odd and scary and ... just "what was I thinking?!". In it I had a doctor friend, and he died. tersa's and cyranocyrano's birthdays were close together and right around the corner, so as their birthday gift I invited them to a place without telling them what it was. Their gift was going to be to help me clean my doctor friend's body and get it ready for embalming! (!!!) When they arrived in the building I was in a back room with a long table where the body would be placed. tersa and cyranocyrano were greeted by people who worked there, and then they had to carry the body in! (They arrived at the building having no clue what they were walking into!) For some reason the guy's body was still limp and flexible, so they made sort of a carrying seat from their arms and carried him into the room that way. Once I noticed how disturbed and disgusted the two looked, I told them they could go if they weren't comfortable. They were gone before I finished speaking the offer! I'm really not sure what the meaning of the dream was, other than I'm probably not the best person to pick out birthday gifts...

Second, I made an FFXI discovery! A good one! I couldn't sleep last night (see that comment I made about being hyper since yesterday evening), so instead of tossing and turning in bed, I got up. (Smart Thistle! Finally!) Having nothing else do do at 1 AM, I went and poked about on the game. I hit the AH to check the price of leather, and noticed a ton of earth crystals for sale! Not holding much hope, I checked the last prices. 400! 350! OH MY GOD! I bought like ten stacks of them! I wonder if this is a usual thing? 1 AM PST should be in the Japanese primetime? Very interesting! And something to remember! Gods above, I hate paying 800 for a stack of earth crystals...

Third, third, what was third... I can't remember! I'm so excited about CTY doing rank 5! *snugs you all* Eee! Oh! I updated the "IC" FFXI journal. Eh, actually I've probably updated it a couple times. Sometimes I forget to post a comment. Oh! And I have another idea for a post there! Heh heh heh. (Eek! But I need to finish flist first! I've got the attention span of a black lab on speed today!)

I know them mostly from a liveaction roleplaying game that glaciation ran for a long time, although there are some friend of friend GarouMush connections in there as well.

Earth -used- to average 200-300 before the PS2 people showed up. Not blaming them, but that's just right about the time that everything soared in price and people started jacking everything through the roof (except things you can, you know, actually sell to make a profit...). I mean, hell, I used to be able to get a stack of fire for only 1200g. ; ; Now I'm lucky if I get 'em for 1800g. Stupid economy >.>

It's all very strange. The Earth crystal prices are back down to 300-400 in Bastok. That's not a bad improvement. Fire's up to 2700 though. ARGH.
