Phoning home

An unexplained radio signal from deep space could -- just might be -- contact from an alien civilization, New Scientist magazine reported on Thursday. New Scientist is a real, valid scientific magazine, not something like the World Weekly News or Bigfoot Times or something like that. How cool!

Work still sucks, but I think I'm less sick than I was yesterday. Still coughing and blowing my nose too much (and damn you, ear! Pop!), but better.

FFXI has been busy. I went from blacksmithing level 0 to level 23 in 24 hours and about 250K gil. Now I'm poor, but hopefully stuff at the AH will sell and I can finish leveling it tonight. I've turned in just over 65K guild points to the leatherguild, and since I need to get to 70K, I'm almost done with that.

Back to work!

Oh man, that's exciting news. I only hope that sometime in my lifetime we'll be able to prove the existence of sentient life outside of our planet. Glad you're feeling better too. =3 *kicks work*

I'm not really surprised about that, especially since we didn't know of the opinions of any other scientists as of the time of your posting, but it's still good to know of this particular debate, and as you say, we can hope!
