What, it's not Saturday yet?

thistlechaserZzzzz. I'm such a (silly|stupid) person. Even though I've been short on sleep all week, I stayed up an hour late last night! And eee, I still feel fine! Bouncy! Bouncy! Bounczzzzz.
Heck, I'm even alone at work for half the day today, AND the (insane) Japan office sent a totally unreasonable request, but still I'm happy! And bouncy! And ... zzzz.
Though the Japan office people are utterly insane, I have a good relationship with them. They're so cool! They -san me all the time, and that makes me wiggle and giggle! Plus sometimes they send little gifts, which is really nice. (Especially since they send them ONLY to me! Not even my boss gets them! Hee!) I'd like to send them something in return, but I have no idea what... I should really hunt down something cool and America-ish to send them. (Any idea what adult Japanese office workers might like? Nothing too large in size.)
FFXI: Everything has finally turned a corner, and I think all the stress of "life" in the game will be off me for a while. I leveled smithing up to a high enough point where I can repair rusty caps. Last night was my first time doing it, and though I failed over 70% of the synths, I still made 15K of profit on only two stacks of caps! I'm intending to fish most of the three day weekend and see if I can make lots of money.
Today or tomorrow I should get my leathercrafting gloves! Woo! (So long as the guild doesn't ask for unreasonable stuff. I'm at 66,566 points and I need only 70,000, so I'm really close!)
Apparently my fame in the treeless city of Bastok isn't high enough (grumble), so I'm going to take a bunch of corn to the sheep and see if that will do the trick. I decided to quest for my teleport scrolls instead of buying them... but the darned Bastok NPC won't give me the quest! Grrr Bastok, nothing good comes out of you! I haven't hit Windy to pick up that quest there, but my fame is pretty high so that shouldn't be a problem. I hope. :)
Had fun fishing at the CTY lake with Aurian, Draque, and Ead... even if they are VERY mean to me and mock my apron! It's a seme apron, thank you very much! (*sniffle*)
