Thwarted!

I had a bunch of screenshots from the new FFXI areas, but (idiot that I am) I forgot to upload them after editing them and before leaving for work this morning. I intended to upload them at lunchtime, but guess what! Stupid Catlove is down AGAIN! (I am SO getting a new host once my paid time runs out there. They suck.)

So you'll just have to imagine all the pretty pictures here. Beautiful white beaches, seas more blue than you could ever imagine, and all sorts of new creatures. *sniff* I wrote a text accounting of my evening of exploring, but of course it pales next to screenshots. It's a quasi-IC post -- more IC than OOC, but IC without heart. I haven't been able to write in characterly lately. FFXI-Thistle is just too darned shallow to maintain for very long; he's not a one-trick pony, he's more of a tenth-of-a-trick pony...

Can't comment on this stuff, but wanted to let you know that I got the new Green Day CD and am enjoying muchly. Does come with a language warning (if you're worried about kidlet exposure) but it's also very timely. Also, because they're not, y'know, *fans* of the president, I'd love to see it do well (if you know what I mean).

But seriously listenable and rockable. Recommended!

(Have you gone out and purchased any CDs yet? If so, what,and what did you think? Also, I was going to offer to burn a Waifs mix CD for you but at the time I was tremendously frustrated with my keyboard (no Is, Ks, commas, or 8s. Or forward and back arrows! Was v. annoying.)

*scraches head* Is this some sort of spam/virus, or are you remembering me as someone I'm not? :) I wouldn't know the difference between Green Day and any other currently popular group, and I've never even heard of "Waifs"! Eh, thanks for the offer though?
