thistlechaserAnime: I watched Naruto #102 this morning, and was rather unimpressed. I hope this story arc isn't going to suck. I had forgotten how much I disliked Sasuke and (especially) Sakura. My god, could Sakura be any more useless? I really really hope this isn't going to be a long arc if we're stuck with just the three of them... and I hope that a more interesting bad guy shows up! The umbrella guy is seriously boring.
FFXI: I got a surprisingly high number of things done yesterday! Thanks to help from a very patient uber-PLD, five of us sneaked and invisibled our way through Ranguemont Pass, Beaucedine Glacier, and Xarcabard to get the Vazhl crystal. How tough that must have been for him! Trying to keep together and protect five invisible people! Especially when our spells just wouldn't stop falling. But it was such a pretty area! I got some screenshots of it. (Didn't have time to upload, sorry!)
I have no idea why, but I've been sort of itching to level leather a little, so yesterday I put 100K into it and got one level. Yay? How the heck am I supposed to level the darned thing when it's 100K per level? Or more? I tell you, I want to cry when I think how different things could have been: If I had only listened sooner that rusty caps were good money! I could have funded raising leather to 100 with them! But no, I listened to others who told me that caps were useless. What an idiot (and low level leathercrafter) I am! Oh well, done bun can't be undone. I missed the good cap time, and so now I have to level the hard way.
I got Gobbie Bag #5! Yay! I didn't really need the space, but I had two of the four items and didn't want to keep storing them, so I bought the other two and handed them all in. I had no idea you got a title when you got a bag upgrade! (Or maybe it's just for this fifth one?) It's very cute. :) The prices were not bad at all, this was one of the cheaper upgrades:
Leather: 1K (I made it myself, otherwise it would have been about 3K.)
Ingot: 2K from a LS member (3K at the AH)
Moglinweave: 10K (Jeuno AH, down from 30K yesterday. Likely will keep falling.)
Jewel, Rhy-whatever: 20K.
So about 33K total. Not bad at all! Yay 55 slots in my bag and being able to carry grandma with me wherever I go! Hee, silly goblins.
I tried to level fishing some, but it sucked. :p Not that that'll stop me from trying again! If nothing else, this darend game teaches you that you should never stop ramming your head against a brick wall! Heehee.
